On the occasion of the reactivation of À L’Adresse, Claude Rutault’s artwork permanently stored on the Consortium Museum’s façade, a new edition of 100 small blank canvas, signed by the artist and numbered 1-100, is now available.
Following the “définition/méthode” protocol established by the artist, each canvas is activated when painted the exact same color as the wall where it is installed. Each collector can buy only one canvas and must commit to keep it for a decade, during which the picture should be repainted each time the wall color changes. After this lapse of time, the painting may be contractually resold. The new buyer must then commit to respect and follow the same protocol.
