Collection: Steven Parrino

Steven Parrino was a legendary and radical painter, videographer and performer. He tragically died in a motorcycle accident at the of 46 (2005).


Close to the New York scene of the late 80s and artists such as Cady Noland or Olivier Mosset, influenced by art history and nihilistic aesthetics of punk and New York new wave, creating a work characterized by a violent rejection of aesthetics and the commercials conventions of his time.


He was a close friend of the Consortium Museum, where his works were exhibited more than once between 1987 and 1999 and where he played twice with his band : Electrophilia.
